4X4AT Creating Opportunities for Local School Leavers

We have taken on 2 new apprentices to help further the growth of the company. 4x4AT has grown the team immensely over the last couple of years including the development of 2 new offices and a soon-to-be-completed additional warehouse to help with the expansion.

James Briggs (left) and Scott Farrar (right) have been taken on as apprentice warehouse operatives. This is a great opportunity that allows for a hands-on learning experience and will end in both, James and Scott, having a worthwhile qualification. Their roles include general warehouse duties, loading and unloading of deliveries and packing of goods to be despatched. This is a great opportunity for both of them to gain on-the-job experience and a qualification which will stand them in good stead for the future.

Warehouse manager Dean Readman said, “We are very proud to be able to offer this opportunity to two local lads, who have shown a real interest in warehousing and have started their careers here brightly.”

The apprenticeship scheme is being run as part of a partnership between 4x4AT and Babcock International apprenticeships.
