The Stainless steel rear protection bar is a great invention that will save your rear bumper from light impacts and bumper damage.

This bar is a basic A-Frame that sits on the rear bumper, looks great and also serves as a rear protection bar.

Light impacts are bumps in car parks, reversing into posts/walls, and loose trollies heading towards your vehicle. The bar will offer a degree of protection against this type of impact but is mainly there as a styling item.

Manufactured and designed in Italy from a high-quality 50mm stainless steel tube which is then polished to give a mirror-like shine.

Installation is simple and the bar is supplied with all the fixings and brackets required along with a comprehensive set of fitting instructions.

This bar is also compatible with vehicles fitted with parking sensors.

Why do we use stainless steel?

We could use a cheap mild steel and then chrome plate it when manufacturing our bars but we don't.

Why not?

Because after a year or so the bar would look unsightly when weeping rust stains appear.

In the iron/carbon mix chromium is also added which gives the steel its stainless qualities.

The chromium element stops the iron from oxidising and becoming rust (iron oxide).

Road salt used during European winters and sea salt, speed up rust formation and again gives us another good reason to use stainless steel here in the UK & in Europe where our products are sold.

Stainless steel can be exposed to the elements all year round and with a little polish now and again, can look as good as the day it came out of the packaging. This is the reason boat makers use stainless, and not mild steel.

Our stainless has a 3-year warranty, and features a mirror polished chrome or black powder-coated look (on some black finished items) but is in fact more expensive, and more durable, stainless steel.
