Access in and out of 4x4 vehicles can be difficult for some, so a side step is a great aid and a great-looking styling accessory.

These bars are manufactured and designed in Italy from a high-quality 50mm stainless steel tubing that is then polished to give a mirror-like shine. They feature a nice large grippy surface making sure you get a good footing on the step in all weather conditions.

Steps are also a great option if you have a roof rack or other rack-mounted accessories like cycle carriers as it gives you the extra height required to easily strap down and secure loads.

Installation is a simple process and the bar comes with all brackets and fixings as well as a full set of fitting instructions.

Why do we use stainless steel?

We could use a cheap mild steel and then chrome plate it when manufacturing our bars but we don't.

Why not?

Because after a year or so the bar would look unsightly when weeping rust stains appear.

In the iron/carbon mix chromium is also added that gives the steel its stainless qualities.

The chromium element stops the iron from oxidising and becoming rust (iron oxide).

Road salt used during European winters and sea salt, speed up rust formation and again gives us another good reason to use stainless steel here in the UK & in Europe where our products are sold.

Stainless steel can be exposed to the elements all year round and with a little polish now and again, can look as good as the day it came out of the packaging. This is the reason boat makers use stainless, and not mild steel.

Our stainless has a 3-year warranty, features a mirror polished chrome or black powder coated look (on some black finished items) but is in-fact more expensive, more durable, stainless steel.
