Designed specifically for the 2013 Captur the Misutonida A-Bar is a great looking accessory and frontal protection system. This bar is EU-approved meaning you can legally drive on UK and EU roads with this bar fitted. You also get a certificate stating the bar is approved for EU use (Included in the fitting instructions).

Mistonida bars are designed and manufactured in Italy from a high-quality 63mm stainless steel tube which is then polished to give a mirror-like shine.

A-Bars not only look great but also serve as protection against light impact from road debris, carpark dings and dents as well as damage from loose trollies.

Why do we use stainless steel?

We could use a cheap mild steel and then chrome plate it when manufacturing our bars but we don't.

Why not?

Because after a year or so the bar would look unsightly when weeping rust stains appear.

In the iron/carbon mix chromium is also added that gives the steel its stainless qualities.

The chromium element stops the iron from oxidising and becoming rust (iron oxide).

Road salt used during European winters and sea salt, speed up rust formation and again gives us another good reason to use stainless steel here in the UK & in Europe where our products are sold.

Stainless steel can be exposed to the elements all year round and with a little polish now and again, can look as good as the day it came out of the packaging. This is the reason boat makers use stainless, and not mild steel.

Our stainless has a 3-year warranty, features a mirror polished chrome or black powder coated look (on some black finished items) but is in-fact more expensive, more durable, stainless steel.
