The outstanding feature of the B88 step is the sturdy non slip platform for day in day out use. The main attribute of the B88 side step is the un offensive styling and tough plain back tread surface which helps prevent slipping in all types of weather conditions.
B88 side steps are practical yet don’t diminish the stylish look they add to the vehicle. The 5.5 inch wide (140mm) step means the side step allows easier access to get in and out of the doors, gives the needed platform to reach the roof for cleaning or reaching roof bars etc They may help reduce damage from other car doors or shopping trolleys, and can even reduce the amount of dirt thrown up from the tyres whilst driving.
The side wall is made from SUS 304 grade stainless steel with a bright, polished mirror finish. The base is an extruded box section of anodised aluminium giving a light but strong structure. The heavy duty brackets have undergone a 2 stage process of black powder coating the Q235A grade steel (genuine powder coated and not just spray painted) for a longer life.
There is no need for drilling or taking up the carpets from the foot-wells, the brackets fit to existing mounting points accessed under the vehicle.
