This kit contains:
- 2x Pedders Trakryder Coil Spring (270242)
- 2x Pedders Shock Absorber (120380)
The kit eliminates the need for the original self-levelling dampers, which have weaker springs and rely partly on the shock for weight support. By replacing these with matched springs and dampers, the vehicle's correct stance is restored and ride height returned to manufacturer specification. The conversion also addresses underdamping experienced during towing or heavy loading, resulting in enhanced vehicle control.
This solution suits both vehicles equipped with and without the self-levelling option. It is suitable for daily driving and towing scenarios where improved suspension performance is required. Vehicle height is based on 16-inch wheels, but the kit fits independently of wheel size.
