Ford Ranger 2023-2024 Genuine Load Bed J-Brace Brackets
The J-Brace is designed to provide extra support for mounting accessories to the load bed. This includes canopies and hard lids.
It is a requirement from Ford that any 2023-2024 Next-Gen Ford Ranger fitted with accessories extending above the load bed, and weighing in excess of 45kg, must have reinforcement brackets installed.
Failure to install the brackets may invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
Important Update:
As of September 2024 for Ranger Raptor, and November 2024 for Ranger, ‘J’ brace reinforcements are no longer required.
Confirm the Model Year of the vehicle by referring to the vehicle build date and VIN cut-off specified in the table above. Any vehicle with a VIN numerically higher than the VIN listed above is a MY25.25 vehicle, and the fitment of a J-Brace is NOT required.
