Today is the day we have been eagerly anticipating, to celebrate Yellow Yorkshire day we have been doing a static bike ride for charity!!
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is this year’s official sponsor of the Tour De Yorkshire, which is coming through Leeming Bar, the home of our headquarters, on the 5th May. To celebrate this day and to support a fantastic local charity we decided to do a charity bike ride.
The plan was to complete stage 3 of the Tour De Yorkshire, all 184km of it.
The entire office was willing to take part and in turn, do a 20-minute stint on the static bike that we have in the showroom. We cycled tirelessly all day and as a group, we managed to complete the entire stage 3 of the Tour De Yorkshire in 6 hours, we even exceeded our target. Something that I think we can all agree that we are really proud of.
The primary aim of the day, apart from to have fun, was to raise as much money as we could for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We are proud to announce that so far we have raised over £400 for charity and we are still counting.
